So tired of only finding sandwiches with hummus or lentil soup for vegan food out, so I asked them to make something else for me at Condeco.
This is what I got and it was great, BBQ sauce with cold quino slaad, tomato, rocket salad, olives, Fry’s vegan chicken, fried onion and more.

Theme

I can’t find a suitable theme, for a/this food blog. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Snack by the road side.

Tartex with cilantro, cucumber and tomato. Simple but good when traveling.

Had some Tandoori spice mix that we fried with zucchini, carrots, cauliflower, baby spinach, onion, bell pepper and coconut milk.
Served with hummus, rice and lemon.

Hagabions café, Kino
Vegan red curry with herbal tofu, zucchini, cauliflower and haricots verts. With a side of cabbage and rice.
All the food at Kino is really good, though the spice courses can be a bit hot for someone as sensitive as me.

Went to Chez Madame in Malmö and ate brunch. It’s a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. I think it was about half the brunch menu that they could make vegan.

I took vegan scones with blackberry jam and “smörrebröd” which was a really ample sandwich with seeds, a paste of sun-dried tomatoes, topped with firm tofu (that I think was mixed with almonds to resemble cottage cheese), zucchini and baby spinach.

On the bottom you can see my friends fruit salad (not much for the money compared to the rest).

Went dumpster diving again tonight

1 cauliflower
1 cabbage
Lots of big potatoes
A loaf of bread

Going on tour with Djurens Rätt again tomorrow.
Djurens Rätt is the biggest, and oldest, animal rights group in Sweden. They work mostly with lobbying, influencing the political agenda as a way to improve the life of animals; mainly in the fields of animal testing, increasing the interest in vegan food and against fur farming.
Right now they focus on a campaign called #minröstförminkarna, which aims to make mink fur farming forbidden. The idea is to raise the demands on the environment for minks that the industry no longer will be profitable.
During the summer they campaign across the whole country, to get new members and a greater chance of prepossess the decision makers to empower the animal protection.
If you’re a Swedish citizen you can become a member from the cost of 25 SEK a month, or 100 SEK/year if you’re 26 years old or younger.
